December news

Well the term  has almost come to an end with great busyness during the month of December.

Tree Planting

Dulyn and Geirionydd Classes planted over 200 trees in Caple Curig at the beginning of the month with Snowdonia National Park. Staff also came here to hold a workshop creating Christmas decorations out of natural materials. The children also had the opportunity to learn about the types of trees growing in North Wales.

Christmas Jumper Day

A Christmas Jumper Day was held where the children had the opportunity to come to school in festive outfits and the opportunity to have their photos taken and create a video for their Christmas bauble.

Christmas dinner

Everyone has been busy creating hats for our Christmas dinner and they looked very smart in their hats whilst feasting on turkey.

Carol Concert at Capel Tal y Bont

We had a wonderful evening performing carols in the chapel and it was very nice to see the place full and the children trying their very best. A successful night for all.

Santa's Obstacle Race

We had an obstacle race to raise money for Saint David's Hospice and Santa came to us to start the race and left a prize for all who joined in.

Party and Disco

A Party and Disco was held at the school and the children had the opportunity to compete in dancing and party games and finish the day feasting on cakes and crisps!

Panto

Children from Reception to Year 6 went to see the Panto - Peter Pan at Venue Cymru. A chance to relax and enjoy at the end of a long and busy term!
